The Wayfair Mastercard is built for one job: furnishing a home. It earns 7x across the Wayfair family — Wayfair, AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main, and Perigold — with no annual fee, plus 3x on groceries and 2x on flights, hotels, and other travel booked online. If a renovation or a move is on your calendar, that 7x is the entire pitch.

The catch is the currency. Rewards come as Wayfair Reward Dollars, redeemable only at Wayfair-family sites, which is why SwipeCaddy values each point at 0.9 cents — 3x on groceries works out to about 2.7% and 2x on travel to about 1.8%. Choosing promotional financing on a purchase drops earning to 5% instead of 7%, and Wayfair Professional accounts, outlet purchases, and gift cards earn nothing. Add a 3% foreign transaction fee.

In a small wallet, treat it as a specialist.
