Our take
The JetBlue Plus Card is built for households that fly JetBlue several times a year. Eligible JetBlue purchases earn 6x TrueBlue points, including flights booked directly with JetBlue and JetBlue Vacations packages, and the free first checked bag covers you plus up to three travel companions on JetBlue-operated flights. Away from the airline, dining and groceries earn 2x, which keeps the card useful between trips.
The tradeoff is the $99 annual fee and a points program you have to value honestly. SwipeCaddy ranks TrueBlue points at 1.3 cents each, so 2x on dining and groceries works out to about a 2.6% return — solid, but not a standalone reason to carry it. The recurring perks do the heavy lifting: 5,000 anniversary points, 10% of points back on JetBlue-operated award flights, and a $100 statement credit on a JetBlue Vacations package of $100 or more.
In a small wallet, treat it as a specialist. Everything outside JetBlue, dining, and groceries earns 1x, so a flat-rate card should handle the rest of your spending. Put JetBlue flights and JetBlue Vacations packages on this card for the 6x rate and the bag benefit, and use it at restaurants and supermarkets when it is the strongest card you hold.
The math
Run $400 a month of dining through this card and you're earning about $125 a year at our conservative valuations. Against the $99 annual fee, that top rate needs roughly $1,375 a month of dining spend before it beats a no-fee flat 2% card.

Common questions
- Does JetBlue Plus Card have an annual fee?
- Yes — $99 per year.
- What does JetBlue Plus Card earn on dining?
- 2x on dining.
- What rewards does JetBlue Plus Card earn on everything else?
- 1x on all other purchases, in JetBlue TrueBlue.
- Does the JetBlue Plus Card charge foreign transaction fees?
- No. The JetBlue Plus Card has no foreign transaction fee, and it runs on the Mastercard network. That makes it a reasonable card to carry abroad, especially for a trip that starts with a JetBlue-operated flight. If most of your international spending would otherwise earn 1x, pair it with a stronger everyday card once you land.
- What does it take to earn the JetBlue Plus Card signup bonus?
- The 60,000-point bonus requires $1,000 in purchases and paying the $99 annual fee in full within the first 90 days. Note that the fee payment is part of the requirement, not just the spending. At SwipeCaddy's 1.3-cent valuation of TrueBlue points, 60,000 points are worth about $780, so plan the qualifying purchases before you apply.
