The Surpass makes the most sense for households that already sleep at Hilton properties and want one card for everyday spending. Dining, groceries, and gas all earn 6x at U.S. merchants, and eligible purchases made directly with a Hilton hotel or resort earn 12x. The card also carries complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status, a perk aimed squarely at people who are already loyal to the brand.
