DoorDash Rewards Mastercard
Chase · Mastercard · No annual fee · Earns Cash Back
The 4% applies only to orders placed through DoorDash and Caviar — any cart type, even groceries — while the 3% dining rate requires paying the restaurant directly, so rival delivery apps earn just 1%. The new-cardholder offer is a year of DashPass that auto-renews at $96, not a cash bonus.

Our take
The DoorDash Rewards Mastercard, issued by Chase with no annual fee, is a declared specialist: 4% back on every DoorDash and Caviar order, with no cap. That 4% covers every order type placed through the app — not just restaurant delivery, but grocery, convenience, and retail carts too. The one charge that earns nothing is the DashPass subscription fee itself. Rewards are plain cash back with no redemption minimum, taken at DoorDash checkout, as a statement credit, by direct deposit, or as gift cards.
The 3% dining rate carries a condition worth reading twice: it applies only when you pay a restaurant directly — at the table, at the counter, or on the restaurant's own website. Order through a rival delivery app like Uber Eats or Grubhub and you earn the 1% base rate, not 3%. The 2% at grocery stores is real but ordinary — any flat 2% card matches it. As a World Elite Mastercard it also charges no foreign transaction fees.
The welcome offer is not cash — aggregators still advertising a $200 bonus are out of date. New cardholders get a free year of DashPass, and authorized users get one too. The catch: it auto-renews at $96 a year unless you cancel, so put the date on your calendar. Spend $10,000 on the card in a year and Chase comps the renewal each anniversary instead. Through December 31, 2026, there is also 10% off one convenience, grocery, or retail order per month, capped at $15.
The math is simple: if you order DoorDash weekly, an uncapped 4% with no annual fee is hard to beat, and no generalist card touches it at its own merchant. But this is a one-merchant card — away from DoorDash it lives at 1–2%, and its dining rate is beaten by several no-fee cards that pay 3% however you order. In a small wallet, carry it only if your DoorDash spending is real — and either way, calendar the DashPass renewal date before the free year runs out.
The math
Run $400 a month of dining through this card and you're earning about $144 a year at our conservative valuations. There's no annual fee to earn back — everything above the 1% base rate is pure upside.

Common questions
- Does DoorDash Rewards Mastercard have an annual fee?
- No — DoorDash Rewards Mastercard has no annual fee.
- What does DoorDash Rewards Mastercard earn on dining?
- 3% on dining.
- What rewards does DoorDash Rewards Mastercard earn on everything else?
- 1% on all other purchases, in Cash Back.
- Does the 4% on DoorDash have a cap?
- No. The 4% is uncapped and applies to every order type placed through DoorDash or Caviar, including grocery and retail carts inside the app. The one exception is the DashPass subscription fee itself, which earns nothing. Rewards accrue as cash back and redeem with no minimum.
- Does the 3% dining rate work on delivery apps?
- Only when you pay the restaurant directly — in person or on the restaurant's own site. Orders through rival delivery apps like Uber Eats or Grubhub earn just the 1% base rate. Orders through DoorDash or Caviar earn 4%, so on this card the delivery choice is really DoorDash or nothing.
- Is there a cash sign-up bonus on the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard?
- No. The new-cardholder offer is a free year of DashPass — authorized users get one too — not a cash bonus; listings that still show $200 are stale. Watch the renewal: it auto-renews at $96 a year unless you cancel, though spending $10,000 in a year earns a complimentary renewal each anniversary.
